John Arthur Draper lived in Narrow Lane, Halsall. He was the son of John and Jane Draper and had two brothers. He was 16 in 1914 and joined the 12th Battalion The King’s Regiment (Liverpool). Private Draper has no grave but he is commemorated at Thiepval memorial, Belgium.
